Who they are
They are family owned tea farm in Ise, Mie Prefecture, Japan, the region is well known for Ise Jingu and of course also for the high quality of tea leaves! The tea field is in the mountain area and the area has a great temperature difference between daytime and nighttime for growing green tea leaves. The morning fog of river ‘Miya-gawa’ is also well working for growing the young leaves.
They are Temomicha (Hand Rolled Tea) specialist!
Temomicha is made by only hands! It will take for over 5 hours to roll the tea leaves by hands. The owner of Nakamori-farm is one of the few "GRAND MASTER (茶匠)" of Hand Rolling in Japan, and his successor, Dai, is a "MASTER (師範)". (Certified by the National Hand-Rolling Tea Association) They served the Hand Roll Tea in G7 Ise-Shima Summit, 2016 and it made the guests be surprised a lot and the guests raved about their tea.
About the best soil they make
Matsusaka beef is one of the three great wagyu beef in Japan and is said to be a "art of meat". Nakamori farm makes the compost from Matsuzaka beef's XXX! By adding this compost, the furrows of the tea plantation will be softened, the quality of the soil will be improved, and the roots of the tea will be able to absorb a lot of nutrients.
